Our Story
Founder and Owner Sherry Rand's journey in the cheer and dance industry began in the mid-1980s alongside her sister. Based in the Northeast, they recognized the need for reliable, high-quality cheer and dance accessories.
In 1989, they partnered with similar businesses across the country to form Omni Cheer, named after their first meeting at Atlanta's Omni Hotel (the original "Omni Girls"!)
Several years later, Sherry made the bold decision to focus exclusively on what she did best – creating exceptional Pom Poms. In 1998, PomExpress.com launched its first website, pioneering online sales in the dance accessory industry. Today, Pom Express operates a global business and is proud to say that every Pom is crafted in the USA.
